NinjaTrader strategies, generated and exported to NinjaScript
AlphaPrime generates and backtests futures strategies, then exports the ones you keep as a NinjaScript file you can import into NinjaTrader 8 and compile.
No credit card. Windows 10/11, 64-bit. Linux and Mac versions coming soon. The trial can export source code too.

How do you get a NinjaTrader strategy out of AlphaPrime?
- 1
Generate and backtest
Pick the market, bar size, costs and the indicator families to search. Every candidate is backtested with fees and slippage. No C# or NinjaScript needed for this part.

- 2
Keep what holds up
Read the report, check the out-of-sample stretch and keep the strategies worth trading.

How do you bring it into NinjaTrader 8?
- 1
Export the .cs file
In the Performance report, open Strategy source code, choose NinjaTrader 8 and click Export file or Copy code.
- 2
Import the library once
The first time only, press Export library and bring AlphaPrime_NinjaTrader.zip in with Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On.
- 3
Compile and compare
Add the strategy, make sure it compiles, set the chart as the header lists, then compare both trade lists on the same data before you trade it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I build NinjaTrader strategies without coding?
Yes. In AlphaPrime you choose settings on screen, and the export gives you finished NinjaScript. You can read or change it in NinjaTrader if you want to.
Which NinjaTrader version does the export use?
NinjaTrader 8. The strategy is saved as a .cs file, and the library comes as a zip you import once.
Will NinjaTrader show the same numbers as the backtest?
Compare the two trade lists on the same data before you trade it. Data, session and cost settings can all change the result, which is why the file header lists what the backtest used.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. The free 7-day trial can view and export source code, so you can follow every step with NinjaTrader first.
What other platforms can I export to?
MultiCharts, TradingView, TradeStation, MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, in each platform's own language.
