About us and editorial policy
Who we are, how each article is written and checked, and what happens when we get something wrong.
Who we are
AlphaPrime is software for systematic futures traders: GPU strategy generation and backtesting, AI that operates the software directly, and portfolio building. It is made by Valynox. Our only official website is alphaprime.trading.
Who writes the articles
The guides are written under the name of Soren Huang, founder and lead developer of AlphaPrime. See the founder profile. We use AI tools to help draft articles, and the facts and conclusions are held to the checks below.
How an article is written and checked
- Topic. We write about questions systematic futures traders actually search for, not about topics chosen for traffic alone.
- Draft. The draft starts with the answer, then explains why, then what to watch for.
- Automated checks and AI review. Every article passes automated checks and an AI review of structure, facts, citations and quality before publication: numbers need a stated source or must be clearly marked as a hypothetical example, citations must come from our own list of verified references, and promises of profit are rejected. An article that does not pass is not published.
- Founder spot checks. The founder regularly checks published articles.
What we cite
- Exchange rules and contract specifications from the exchanges themselves (for example CME Group and TAIFEX).
- Peer-reviewed or widely cited research, such as work on backtest overfitting and the deflated Sharpe ratio. Each reference is verified to exist before it is used.
- Our own published benchmark, with the date it was measured.
What we do not publish
- Guaranteed or promised returns, or performance claims without a source.
- Personal investment advice. Articles explain methods; they do not tell you what to trade.
Corrections
If you find an error, write to info@alphaprime.trading with the article link and what is wrong. We check it, fix the article, and change its “updated” date. A correction that changes a conclusion is noted in the article itself.
